Mrs Olurinu Jose

Olurinu Jose is the Finance and Management Information System. Prior to her appointment, she was the Director of Business Systems in the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA).
Mrs. Jose is a chartered accountant and member of the Institute of Charted Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). Before joining LAMATA, she worked briefly with the Lagos State Government as a senior accountant where she led the team responsible for the implementation of oracle database system and the migration of data from the legacy system to oracle Public sector budgeting and general ledger. Her team was also responsible for the preparation of the consolidated financial accounts for presentation to the Accountant General and Commissioner of Finance.
She has attended various academic and professional programs. Rinu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Obafemi Awolowo University (formerly University of Ife), Ile – Ife, Nigeria, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Lagos Business School (LBS), Lagos and a Chief Information Security Officer (CIO) Executive certification from the Carnegie Mellon University, USA. Rinu is currently a student of the University of Liverpool’s Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) program.
Her over 24 years work experience traverses both the public and the private sectors of the Nigerian economy. During this period, she has gained vast and vital experience in accounting and finance, strategy human resources management and the management of information technology & systems as well as strategy policy formulation and analysis and execution.
